So, something on the twitter just reminded me I never posted my homemade Goddess dressing recipe! This is something I came up with on my own after spending nearly a billion million dollars on Annie’s (delicious and incomparable) Goddess dressing and then subsequently realized one of the key ingredients to Goddess dressing was vinegar, which I had a lot of. At about four dollars a bottle for Annie’s version, it really adds up, especially if you put it on everything like I do!
You can play around with this recipe (for example I like A LOT of raw garlic) and make yours to taste, this is just what I came up with.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup raw tahini
- 1/2 cup fermented kombucha vinegar (the stuff that’s too acidic to drink)
- 1/4 cup Braggs Liquid Aminos
- 1/4 cup flax seed oil
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp dried parsley
- 3 tsp cane sugar
- 2 tsp cumin
Directions:
Take your ingredients and put them in a food processor and blend until it’s nice and smooth or as chunky as you like it to be. It really helps to have the garlic cut or crushed before it goes into the food processor so you don’t end up with a whole clove of garlic floating around in there.
Try this out if you’ve got a lot of extra kombucha vinegar you can’t think of anything to do with.
Stay tuned for more recipes as time permits me to post them!
