Kombucha Wine!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I drank some of this kombucha wine that was bottled back in August ’09.  It was amazing.  Champagne-ish effervescence with a real subtle but delicious kombucha flavor and went down smooth like butter.

Organic Experiment!

I’m trying to work with some new kinds of organic sugar including Rapadura a South American pre-colonial cane sugar.  We’ll let you know if any of it actually works in a few weeks.

Green Tea Kombucha Vs. Black Tea Kombucha

Here’s some pictures of a few of our jars of green and black kombucha at seven to ten days.  The green tea based kombucha is the lighter tea with a whiter SCoBY.  Everything is healthy and the green tea might be ready before schedule!

Let the battle begin.

Organic green and black tea starter kits available starting 3-17!

We should have a few of our prized starter kits available tomorrow, finally. To clarify, the green tea is organic and the black tea is not, sadly we are still in the process of going completely organic and fair trade. As you may know it is a bit more expensive but I personally feel a little better knowing that my tea wasn’t picked by little kids or people that get paid 3 cents a day.
